Tuff nano or Tuff nano Plus users can rest assured that not even 1M of water can harm your drives! Both devices can be fully immersed in water up to 1M for 30 minutes.

ADVANCED POWER MANAGEMENT
With an emphasis on the environmental aspects, the CalDigit storage team developed a power management mechanism that monitors the traffic for both the internal NVMe SSD as well as the storage controller. When idle, the Tuff nano or Tuff nano Plus will stay in low power mode consuming much less power and prolonging the internal SSDs components as well as your laptop's battery life. This greatly reduces power consumption and is especially important when battery life is critical.
